Kenya Friend-Daniel

Kenya Friend-Daniel is an accomplished communications professional currently serving as the Head of Product Communications at Mozilla since June 2023. With extensive experience in corporate communications, Kenya has held significant positions at Rivian, Trader Joe's, and Nestlé, where responsibilities included developing communication strategies to enhance employee engagement and articulating corporate social responsibility initiatives. Roles also included Corporate Communications Manager at Mattel, where Kenya pioneered efforts to showcase the company's social impact, and Sr. Communications Specialist for the USO, focusing on media strategies and partnership awareness. Earlier experience includes producing news content at CNN Newsource and WJZ-TV, as well as a Producer role at KLAS TV. Kenya holds a Master’s degree in Media Management and a Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Journalism from Syracuse University.
