Victor P.

Victor P. has a long and varied career in finance and accounting. Victor began their career in 2008 as an AP Senior Accountant at Lufthansa Group Business Services, where they were responsible for invoice processing for payment, issuing payments within SAP to suppliers, fixed assets controlling, cost accounting, and intercompany expenses in SAP 8.0. Victor achieved success in actively coordinating a vendor's master data project, with the objective of updating payment method from check to electronic transfer, saving cost for the company.

In 2010, Victor P. moved to DuPont, where they were Plant Cost Accounting LATAM Team Leader. Victor was responsible for coordinating and reviewing control of inventory valuation through average and standard cost in SAP, inventory and cost accounting for many manufacturing sites in LATAM, and more than 50 warehouses for resale of finished products control of import duties, freight and other expenses that impacted inventory value and the cost of goods sold. Victor managed plant fixed cost forecast for the manufacturing sites and explained variations real vs plan, and developed COGS, MPE, and Inventory dashboards to provide accurate and executive information of each business unit at DuPont Latinoamerica. Victor also successfully completed the transition of the inventory and cost accounting strategic business of DuPont for the entire Latin-American region.

In 2015, Victor P. moved to Aon Risk Solutions as a Finance Manager RTR LATAM. In 2017, they moved to Adient as a Sr. Finance Manager Americas, where they lead the areas of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Record to Report, and Cash Management. Victor was responsible for coordinating and reviewing forecast packaging report, planned vs actual, P&L and BS monthly/ quarterly month end closing operations, financial statement consolidation, SOX and Non-SOX Internal control compliance, balance sheet account reconciliations, and reporting the financial statements to the corporation in USGAAP. Victor achieved success in implementing CFDI 3.3 for Mexican entities, coordinating with customers and project team, successfully integrating Futuris operation on a shared service center environment, and reducing bad debt by leading a project with plants, customers, and commercial department.

In 2018, Victor P. moved to FILTEC as Finance & Admin Director LATAM. Most recently, in 2021, they moved to Mozper as Controller FP&A, where they are responsible for preparation of meticulous in-house bookkeeping and internal financial reporting as well as financial statements and income tax reports for different external stakeholders. Victor also develops and continually improves budgeting, financial projections, operating forecast, business models scenarios and plans, and analyzes trends, monitors results, cash flows, and KPIs, and identifies the cause of unexpected variances.

Victor P. obtained a Licenciatura in Derecho from Universidad Nacional Auton between 2010 and 2011. Victor then continued their studies at Universidad de Negocios ISEC, where they obtained a Maestria in Fiscal between 2009 and 2011, a Lic. en Contaduría Pública in Fiscal, and a Master degree. In 2014, they obtained a Six Sigma Green Belt from Six Sigma, and in 2013, they obtained a SAP Key User from SAP.
