Axel Rodrigo Bautista Pérez

Axel Rodrigo Bautista Pérez has gained extensive work experience in various organizations and roles. Axel Rodrigo is currently working at MPact Global Action for Gay Men’s Health and Rights as a Community Mobilization Coordinator, where they are involved in several responsibilities, including being a Local Consultant about gay and queer men living with HIV in Mexico, representing MPact as a content creator during the International AIDS Conference, and contributing to the "Right to" campaign. Prior to this, Axel worked at Inspira Cambio AC as an HIV Agenda Coordinator, where they coordinated the "My Health Provider and I 2023" campaign and served as a strategic coordinator at the Condesa Clinic. Axel Rodrigo has also worked as a Consultant at Clinical Care Options and CONSEJO PARA PREVENIR LA DISCRIMINACION DE LA CIUDAD DE MÉXICO. Axel has experience as a Content Creator at CONSEJO NACIONAL PARA PREVENIR LA DISCRIMINACION, a Radio show host at IMER, and an Area Manager at INEGI Informa. Additionally, they have served as a Teacher Assistant at the Facultad de Ciencias Políticas y Sociales, UNAM, where they collaborated in various classes and organized extracurricular activities. Axel began their career as a Personal Assistant at Salud, Derechos y Justicia A.C. and as a Volunteer at AIDS-Fondet.

Axel Rodrigo Bautista Pérez pursued their education in the field of Sociology. Axel Rodrigo completed their Bachelor's degree at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México from 2011 to 2016. In 2014, they participated in an exchange program at Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen, where they studied Sociology and Medical Anthropology for a year. Prior to their university studies, from 2009 to 2011, they obtained an International Baccalaureate Diploma from the United World College Costa Rica. In terms of additional certifications, Axel obtained proficiency in English by successfully completing The TOEFL® test in October 2014.
