Tevin Omolo

Tevin Omolo is a Laboratory Technician at Mpala Research Centre since June 2023, specializing in Molecular Biology techniques including DNA extraction, PCR analysis, and blood serum studies, along with training students in laboratory operations. Prior experience includes roles as a Laboratory Assistant at the Wildlife Research and Training Institute and Kenya Wildlife Service, where similar Forensic and Molecular Biology techniques were employed. Additionally, Tevin has provided training on Real Time PCR machines at the Institute of Primate Research and gained foundational experience through various positions, including an Attachment at South Nyanza Sugar Company Ltd and a Porter at Helkon (K) Ltd. Tevin holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from The Technical University of Kenya and has completed an International Computer Driving License program.
