Kristopher Kalish

Senior Staff Software Engineer at mParticle

Kristopher Kalish has a diverse work experience that spans multiple companies and roles. Kristopher started their career as a Research Assistant at James Madison University, where they developed visualizations and convenience applications for a large display. Kristopher also worked on parallel algorithms for their honors thesis.

After that, Kristopher joined UC Davis as a Research Assistant and Graduate Reader for Software Engineering. Kristopher contributed to research on 22q11.2 deletion syndrome and assisted in the development and grading of homework assignments for a graduate-level course. Kristopher also served as a Teaching Assistant, facilitating discussion sessions and helping students with C++ programming.

Next, Kristopher worked at Domain Holdings Group as a Software Engineer and Consultant. Kristopher was involved in building a domain parking platform and contributed to the implementation of internal management tools using Bootstrap and Angular.

Kristopher then joined Bidtellect, where they held positions as a Software Engineer and later as the Director of Optimization. In these roles, they focused on building Bidtellect's demand-side-platform and exchange, developing bidding algorithms and utilizing Angular.js, C#, Java, Scala, and Spark. Kristopher also led a team that worked on optimization technology, reporting pipelines, and bidding algorithms for advertisers.

Currently, Kristopher is employed at mParticle as a Senior Staff Software Engineer. Kristopher previously served as a Software Engineering Manager, leading a team, and as a Senior Software Engineer.

Kristopher Kalish obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from James Madison University in the year 2010. Kristopher then pursued further education and completed their Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of California, Davis in the year 2013.
