Jackline Nelima Malaba has a diverse work experience spanning over 14 years. Jackline began their career as a Teacher of French and English at Uasin Gishu High School in 2007 and later joined Immaculate Heart Juniorate as a Teacher of English. In 2008, they became a Language Tutor at the Foundation Institute of Africa. In 2010, they took on the role of Head of French Department at Mount Kenya Academy Senior School, where they served for six years. In 2016, they joined MPESA Foundation Academy as an IBDP/MYP Teacher of English, Literature, and French. Jackline also held the position of Head of English Department and is currently the Head of Language and Literature Department.

Jackline Nelima Malaba has a comprehensive education history. Jackline attended Mount Kenya University - MKU from 2019 to 2023, where they pursued a Master of Education (MEd) degree in Educational Administration Leadership and Management. Prior to that, from 2002 to 2007, they studied at Maseno University and obtained a Bachelor of Education Arts degree, specializing in French and English. In their earlier years, from 1997 to 2000, they attended St. Cecilia Girls High School and obtained a Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education. Additionally, in 1996, they completed their Kenya Certificate of Primary Education at Moi DEB Primary School. Finally, from 1990 to 1995, they studied at St. Anne's Girls Mumias and also obtained a Kenya Certificate of Primary Education.
