Michael Levensohn

Michael Levensohn, CPA, MBA, AM, currently serves as a Senior Associate at MPI, specializing in business valuation, forensic accounting, and litigation support since June 2022. Prior to this role, Levensohn gained experience as a Senior Analyst at Advent Valuation Advisors from January 2019 to June 2022, where similar responsibilities were undertaken. Levensohn's background in journalism spans from 1999 to 2018 at the Times Herald-Record, culminating in the role of Metro Editor, overseeing newsroom operations and guiding staff in content development. A former business/regional editor, Levensohn led teams of reporters and contributed to significant redesign initiatives. An accomplished journalist, Levensohn authored numerous articles on finance and real estate, earning multiple awards and a nomination for Dow Jones employee of the year. Levensohn holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Princeton University and completed additional education at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign between 2018 and 2022.
