Colin Blount

Colin Blount has extensive experience in the offshore wind and power generation sectors, currently serving as a Deck Rigger at MPI Offshore since July 2013, where responsibilities include erecting topsides of wind turbines. Prior to this role, Colin worked as a Deck Foreman at KMB Sheringham Shoal Wind Farm from September 2011 to October 2012, overseeing rigging operations and launching a trencher on a cable boat. Additionally, Colin held the position of Site Coordinator at Alstom from April 2009 to September 2011, where the primary focus was on coordinating subcontractors for lifting equipment and managing heavy plant movements at the Staythorpe power station. Colin's educational background includes attendance at Eston Grange CM School from 1967 to 1971.
