Chief Engineer at MPI Offshore

Mark Linney MIMarEST IEng has extensive work experience in the maritime industry. Mark began their career in 1990 as a Marine Engineer Officer for the Royal Fleet Auxiliary, where they worked on various vessel types and also held positions at the Royal Navy Fleet Operations Headquarters and as an RFA Cadet Training Officer. In 2011, they joined OSG Ship Management as a Technical Superintendent before moving to MPI Offshore in 2012. At MPI Offshore, Mark is currently the Chief Engineer on the ship MPI Resolution, specializing in offshore wind turbine construction and project installation. Mark'sprimary responsibilities include jacking operations engineering, maintenance of the jacking system, and management of the Engineering Department.

Mark Linney attended South Tyneside College from 1988 to 1993, where they pursued a degree in Marine Engineering. During this time, they focused on becoming a Marine Engineer Officer Cadet.
