Anand Cavale

Anand Cavale has extensive experience in the financial industry, with roles in various companies over the years.

Starting in 1990, Cavale worked at Citi as a Managing Director and Vice President, overseeing the US Consumer Lending business. Anand was responsible for driving the growth of secured and unsecured lending products and led a team with direct and dotted line responsibilities.

In 2005, Cavale joined the Global Consumer Group of Citi as the Business Head and Vice President for Credit Payments Products in Singapore. Anand successfully led a comprehensive business turnaround, expanding annual earnings by 15% and driving 35+% growth in EBIT over two years.

From 2007 to 2009, Cavale served as the Senior Vice President of International Cards, Product Management, and Strategy at Citi. Anand championed credit card product strategy for international markets and led restructuring efforts in Brazil, India, and Taiwan to mitigate the impact of the recession.

In 2009, Cavale became the Managing Director and Country Head for Cards and Consumer Lending in Malaysia at Citi. Anand turned around the franchise by leading a senior leadership team and successfully enhanced sales and revenue.

Cavale joined SoFi in 2018 as the Business Head and General Manager for Consumer Lending, where they played a key role in the company's growth and success until 2020.

From 2020 to 2021, they served as the Head of Fintech and Strategy at Alliance Data Card Services.

From 2021 to 2023, Cavale worked at Guaranteed Rate as the Executive Vice President and Head of Consumer Unsecured Lending Business.

Currently, Cavale holds the position of Chief Growth Officer at MPOWER Financing, a fast-growing FinTech company that provides loans to college students worldwide.

Anand Cavale holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree with a concentration in Finance and Marketing from St. John's University. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Industrial and Production Engineering from Bangalore University.
