Sami Soleimani has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Starting in 2012, Sami worked as a Biomedical Research Assistant at the Texas Biomedical Device Center, where they were involved in device development, software testing, data analysis, and participant recruitment for trials. They also designed research tools using CAD software and assembled neural signal sensors for behavioral projects.
In 2015, Sami joined UT Southwestern as a Biomedical Researcher, where they developed a hydrophone acoustic receiver and a limb heating solenoid prototype. They worked with scientists to simulate and test these designs and calibrated hydrophone designs using custom software.
Since 2017, Sami has been working at MPOWERHealth, starting as a Surgical Neurophysiologist and later taking on roles such as Surgical Neurophysiologist - Education Coordinator, Assistant Director of Education, and currently serving as the Director of Education.
Sami Soleimani earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Neuroscience from The University of Texas at Dallas, from 2011 to 2014. Following that, they pursued a Master's Degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the same university, completing it from 2013 to 2015. In addition to their academic achievements, Sami obtained certifications such as Certified in Neurophysiologic Intraoperative Monitoring from ABRET in August 2017. Sami also became a First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor through the American Heart Association in October 2021.
