Pete Atwal

Pete Atwal is an experienced professional in the asphalt industry, currently serving as Asphalt Director at MQP since March 2025. Prior to this role, Pete held the position of Area Operations Manager for South East Asphalt at Heidelberg Materials from January 2023 to March 2025. Pete also worked at Hanson UK as a Production Manager from November 2020 to January 2023, and spent over two decades at Tarmac, progressing through various roles including Asphalt Production Manager and Multi Unit Manager. Pete Atwal holds a BSc in Minerals Management and a Foundation Degree in Asphalt and Pavement Technology, both from the University of Derby.
