Doug MacKay

Doug Mackay is a seasoned technology leader currently serving as Chief Technology Officer at The Call List since May 2016 and Founder of the education software company Mr. Elmer, which focuses on enhancing school culture, student character, and safety. Prior experience includes roles at Johnson Controls from October 2008 to April 2015 as Program Manager for Emerging Technology and Innovation, where Doug applied emerging technologies to improve market performance and efficiency, and as Sr. Staff Engineer and Product Owner. Doug also worked at Gridlogix, Inc. as Sr. Software Engineer and Architect, where leadership in software engineering contributed to a successful exit for the startup. Earlier experience includes serving as Principal Lead in the Advanced Technologies Group at Omicron Technologies, overseeing product development and manufacturing processes. Doug holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Chicago and Missouri University of Science and Technology.
