João Monteiro

João Monteiro has over a decade of experience in the IT industry. João began their career in 2001 as a Programmer at Markdata where they developed web applications such as e-videotrack, e-pubreport, e-radiotrack, e-outdoor, nettrack and e-telenews. In 2005, they became the IT Manager at IMR - Instituto de Marketing Research where they were responsible for the preparation, installation and maintenance of the company's technological equipment. From 2007 to 2011, they worked at Digisis Consultores as a Systems Analyst and Software Developer, where their duties included the implementation and maintenance of solutions and interfaces. Lastly, from 2011 to 2014, they worked at Gatewit as the Information Systems Deputy Director, where they were in charge of team management, recruitment, certification processes, project management, strategy delivery and implementation, procedure assessment, delivery, implementation and validation.

João Monteiro completed their secondary education at Camilo Castelo Branco in 1989-1994. João then went on to obtain a B.S. in Computer Science from Universidade Autónoma de Lisboa in 1994-1995. Afterwards, they obtained a B.S. in Physics from the University of Lisbon in 1995-1999. Finally, João Monteiro obtained a Postgraduate degree in IT Governance from Universidade Lusófona de Humanidades e Tecnologias in 2012-2013.
