Taryn Smith

Taryn Smith is an accomplished Merchandise Director at Mr Price Group, a position held since July 2023. Prior to this role, Taryn served as the Lead Buyer for Power Fashion, a division of Mr Price Group, from September 2021 to July 2023, and has extensive experience in various merchandising roles since starting at Mr Price Apparel in 2002. Throughout Taryn’s career, key responsibilities have included leading teams in merchandise planning across multiple departments, managing brand portfolios, and driving performance metrics to maximize sales and profitability. Taryn holds a degree from Stellenbosch University, complemented by foundational education at Northlands Girls High.
