Rod Basham

Rod Basham is an experienced Flame Artist and VFX Supervisor with a diverse portfolio in the visual effects industry. Currently serving as a Flame Artist at Pariah VFX and Method Studios since October and May 2022, respectively, Rod has also held roles as a Freelance Flame Artist at A52 and Mr. Wolf, and as a Lead Flame Artist at S H A P E + L I G H T while contributing significantly as a VFX Supervisor/Lead Flame Artist at Electric Theatre Collective. Rod has extensive freelance experience since June 2016, including a position as a Freelance Flame Artist/VFX Supervisor at Big Block. Rod's background is complemented by a brief educational experience at UCSB.
