Andrew Rosenberg has a diverse work experience in various organizations and positions. Andrew is currently serving as a Member of the Board of Directors at the International Seafood Sustainability Foundation and as the Chairman of the Board at the Massachusetts Oyster Project. In the past, they held roles such as Senior Fellow at the Carsey School for Public Policy, President at MRAG Americas, Inc., Interim Director at the Center for Ocean Leadership, and Scientist, as well as Director of the Center for Science and Democracy at the Union of Concerned Scientists. Andrew also worked as a Professor of Natural Resources and Dean of Life Sciences and Agriculture at the University of New Hampshire. Additionally, they have served as the Senior Vice President for Science + Knowledge at Conservation International and as the Deputy Director of NMFS at NOAA.
Andrew Rosenberg received their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Fisheries Biology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Following this, they obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Marine Biology and Biological Oceanography from Oregon State University. Later, they pursued a Ph.D. in Biology from Dalhousie University.
