Nuno Carrilho

Nuno Carrilho is an experienced marine mammal and fisheries observer with a focus on monitoring fisheries and marine ecosystems. Currently serving as a Marine Mammal Observer at MRAG Ltd since February 2021, Nuno has previously held similar roles at the same company, monitoring the Loligo Squid Trawl fishery. Additional experience includes working as a Fisheries Observer for the Portuguese Data Collection Framework and ICCAT Fisheries programs. Nuno's career spans various projects and organizations, contributing valuable expertise to fisheries compliance and monitoring initiatives. Nuno holds a Licentiate degree in Biologia Marinha e Biotecnologia from the Polytechnic of Leiria, attained between 2000 and 2006.
