Amy Manning-Bog has a diverse work experience in the field of biomedical sciences. Amy is currently the Chief Innovation Officer at MRIGlobal since October 2022. Prior to that, they held various positions at Atreca, Inc. from 2015 to 2022, including Vice President roles in Translational Sciences and Drug Discovery and Translational Development. Amy also worked as a Senior Director in Translational Sciences, Director of Biology, and Associate Director of Biology during their tenure at Atreca. Before joining Atreca, Amy worked as a Senior Scientist at Sangamo BioSciences from July 2014 to November 2015. Amy also served as a Program Director at SRI International from 2009 to 2014, where they focused on neurodegenerative diseases. Amy worked as an Adjunct Faculty in Chemistry and Biochemistry at UC Santa Cruz from 2009 to 2014 and also held positions at The Parkinson's Institute as an Adjunct Faculty in Basic Research from 2009 to 2009 and as an Assistant Professor from January 2009 to September 2009. Amy was an Adjunct Assistant Professor at The Parkinson's Institute from 2003 to 2008. Amy started their career as a Scientist II/Manager at Renovis Inc. in 2002. Amy completed their graduate studies as a Graduate Student at the University of Missouri, Kansas City from 1991 to 1999.
Amy Manning-Bog pursued their higher education at the University of Missouri-Kansas City from 1992 to 1999, where they obtained an Interdisciplinary PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biology at Missouri State University.
