Zach Demars

Zach DeMars currently serves as Capability Manager at MRIGlobal, where responsibilities include overseeing the R&D Group focused on Integrated Health Surveillance and Diagnostics and managing scientific projects as Principal Investigator. Prior to this role, Zach was a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and held the positions of Research Associate and PhD Candidate at the University of Kansas Medical Center from 2016 to 2021. Zach earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Microbiology from the University of Kansas Medical Center and a Bachelor's Degree in Microbiology from Kansas State University, in addition to an Associate of Science in Biology from Cloud County Community College.
