Iris Pinheiro

Head of Translational Research Unit at MRM Health NV

Iris Pinheiro has an extensive work experience in the field of biotechnology. Iris began their career in 2002 as an Undergraduate Research Fellow at CIBIO. In 2006, they were a Marie Curie Fellow at INRA - Unit of Biology of Development and Reproduction. From 2007 to 2012, they completed their Ph.D. in Biotechnology at VIB. Afterwards, they joined ProDigest as a Senior Research Scientist, where they stayed until 2020. Currently, they are the Head of Translational Research Unit at MRM Health.

Iris Pinheiro completed a Licentiate degree in Biology - Applied Animal Biology from the Faculty of Sciences, University of Porto, Portugal between 1997 and 2002. Iris then went on to obtain a Master's Degree in Biodiversity and Genetic Resources from the same university between 2003 and 2005.
