Michelle Patricia A.

Michelle Patricia A. has had a varied work experience since 2015. Michelle Patricia began their career as a Faculty of Biotechnology Student Ambassador at Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia, where they promoted the faculty and university as a student ambassador. In 2017, they took on the role of Laboratory Assistant at the same university, assisting lecturers in preparing weekly practicals and mentoring students. In 2018, they were a Research Intern at Pusat Studi Satwa Primata. In 2019, they were a Research Intern at the Genome Institute of Singapore, where they investigated the pathways of epigenetic drugs against breast cancer. In 2020, they were a Research Assistant at the BioCORE Laboratory, conducting an oral health study focusing on antibody responses to periodontal pathogens from clinical samples. In 2021, they were a Research Student at the VIB-VUB Center of Structural Biology and a Research Intern at BioPort UGent. Currently, they are an Associate Scientist at MRM Health and a Team Member at iGEM KU Leuven.

Michelle Patricia A. has a diverse education history. Michelle Patricia obtained a High School Diploma from SMA Santa Ursula in 2015, a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology from Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia in 2020, and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Molecular Biology from both Vrije Universiteit Brussel and KU Leuven. Additionally, they obtained an Open Water Diver Certification from PADI in July 2015.
