Ir. Muhammad Fahmi Arsyad S.T., M.M.S.I have a diverse range of work experience. Ir. Muhammad Fahmi started their career as an Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer at POSCO in 2013. Ir. Muhammad Fahmi then worked at PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) as a Telecommunications Specialist, where they reviewed telecoms design deliverables and performed site surveys. Ir. Muhammad Fahmi also served as a Signalling and Telecommunication Staff, responsible for testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting for train signaling systems.

In 2019, Ir. Fahmi Arsyad joined PT. MRT Jakarta as the Signal and Telecommunication Maintenance Section Head. Ir. Muhammad Fahmi was involved in failure analysis, investigating faults and incidents related to MRT signaling, communications, and control systems. Ir. Muhammad Fahmi also assisted the Technical Manager with system renewal projects and ensured the deliverables met the given requirements.

In addition to their industry experience, Ir. Fahmi Arsyad has also been a lecturer at multiple institutions. Ir. Muhammad Fahmi is currently working as a Lecturer at Institut Teknologi Sumatera, where they prepare and delivers lectures, develops curricula, and collaborates with other academics to improve teaching methods. Ir. Muhammad Fahmi has also held lecturer positions at Trisakti Institute of Transportation and Logistics and Sekolah Tinggi Transportasi Darat, where they performed similar responsibilities.

Muhammad Fahmi further pursued their education and in 2015, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Institut Sains dan Teknologi Nasional (ISTN) Jakarta.

In 2017, they enrolled in BINUS University and completed a Master's degree in Management Information Systems, General in 2019. Continuing their academic journey, in 2021, they attended Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) and received a Profesional Engineer (Ir.) degree in Engineering.

Currently, Ir. Muhammad Fahmi Arsyad S.T., M.M.S.I is pursuing a Doctor's Degree in Computer Science at BINUS UNIVERSITY GRADUATE PROGRAM, which they commenced in 2023.
