Stuart Thomson

Stuart Thomson has a diverse work experience spanning over 25 years. Stuart served as the CEO of MSALABS from August 2018 onwards. Prior to that, they held various roles at Capital Drilling, including Managing Director of Production Division and Group Business Development Manager. Stuart also worked at Orica for several years, where they held positions such as Customer Solutions Manager, Global AN, Bulk, and Packaged Explosives Product Manager, and Technical Services Manager in both Asia and North Asia. Additionally, they served as a Director at OricaCCM Energy Systems Sdn Bhd and Orica Mining Services (Hong Kong). Before that, Stuart worked at Portman Mining and Normandy Mining as a Deputy Manager and Mining Engineer respectively.

Stuart Thomson completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Exploration and Mining Geology at Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd from 1988 to 1991. Stuart then pursued a Master of Engineering degree in Project Management at Deakin University from 1999 to 2003.
