Trent Moorman

Trent Moorman is an experienced project manager with a strong background in coal processing and operations management. Currently serving as Project Manager at Yancoal Australia Ltd since October 2015, Trent is involved in the Moolarben CHPP Upgrade. Previously, Trent held positions as CHPP Manager at Whitehaven Coal and CHPP Superintendent while traveling with family. A significant portion of expertise was developed at Xstrata Coal, where Trent worked from 2004 to 2013 in various roles including Project Manager and Surface Manager, focusing on CHPP projects and operational strategies. Trent's early career included research engineering at The University of Newcastle. Academic qualifications include a Graduate Diploma in Mining Engineering from UNSW and a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from the University of Newcastle.
