Douglas Walls

Douglas Walls, CFA, currently serves as Managing Director and APAC Head of Index and Analytics Business at MSCI Inc. since September 2019. In addition, Walls has held the position of Head of Product Development & Management for Asia Pacific at Fidelity International since March 2016 and operates as a Product Development, Strategy, and Innovation Executive for Consulting & Private Ventures since January 2015. Prior experience includes roles at BlackRock as Head of Product Development, Strategy & Innovation for both Australia and Asia Pacific from December 2009 to December 2014, and at Barclays Global Investors as Head of Product Development from March 2000 to December 2009. Walls began a career in consulting as a Senior Consultant at Barra International Ltd from March 1997 to March 2000. Educational credentials include an MSc in Investment Analysis from the University of Stirling and an MA Hons in Psychology from the University of Aberdeen.
