Jackie Mendia

Jacqueline Mendia is an Associate at BDT & MSD Partners since June 2021, previously serving as a Legal Analyst. Prior experience includes working as a Litigation Paralegal at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP from August 2018 to May 2021. Jacqueline also contributed to the Upstate Institute Consumer Bankruptcy Law Project as a Legal Volunteer at Colgate University, where meetings with clients helped determine eligibility for Chapter 7 Consumer Bankruptcy. Additionally, a role as an Undergraduate Research Assistant involved translating academic works for a bilingual publication. Earlier experiences include volunteering with the NYCitizenship Project and the New York Legal Assistance Group, supporting low-income Spanish-speaking clients and managing legal service intakes. Jacqueline holds a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Economics and Spanish from Colgate University, with complementary education from Universidad CEU San Pablo and Westminster School.
