Sara Figueiredo

Sara Figueiredo currently serves as the Oncology Women Network Regional EMEAC lead for MSD, focusing on business integration and insights, and actively champions diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives within the organization. With extensive experience in the healthcare sector, Sara has held notable positions such as Senior Medical Advisor in Oncology at MSD Portugal, where responsibilities included strategy development and medical training. Previously, Sara worked at Bayer as a Scientific Manager and Advisor, leading regional advisory boards, and began the career at Laboris Farmacêutica as a trainee. Educational achievements include a Doctor of Pharmacy from Universidade de Coimbra and an ongoing Executive Women in Leadership program at Cornell University. Sara co-founded the Women’s Network chapter in Portugal and has actively contributed to promoting women’s leadership within MSD.
