Dr. Rainer Woker

Dr. Rainer Woker possesses extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as Director of Operational Excellence and MSL Lead General Medicine at MSD Deutschland since December 2019. Prior roles at MSD include Teamlead for Adempas and MSL Lead for Immunologie, alongside serving as a Senior Medical Advisor for Diabetes. Dr. Woker has held interim managerial positions at various companies, including Fedor-Beratung and Almirall, and has a robust history with Boehringer Ingelheim, where responsibilities spanned from MSL to leading new product initiatives and marketing in multiple therapeutic areas. Dr. Woker holds a doctorate in chemistry from the University of Düsseldorf and completed secondary education at Görres Gymnasium Düsseldorf.
