Urmilla Bridgmohun

Urmilla Bridgmohun is a seasoned professional in clinical operations and research with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors. Currently serving as the Therapeutic Area Head at MSD South Africa since May 2023, Urmilla oversees the management of employees in Therapeutic Areas and is responsible for developing key talents within the organization. Prior to this, Urmilla held the position of Country Clinical Operations Manager at AbbVie from March 2020 to April 2023, where responsibilities included driving Site Management & Monitoring operations in South Africa. Urmilla's career also includes roles such as Clinical Research Manager at MSD and Project Director Oncology at INC Research. With an MBA and a BSc Honours in Medical Biochemistry from the University of the Witwatersrand, Urmilla possesses a strong educational background to complement extensive practical expertise.
