Maliea Altamirano

Maliea Altamirano is a dedicated Special Education Teacher and Speech Language Pathologist Aide at Middleton School District 134 since August 2019, specializing in providing evidence-based Speech and Language therapy to preschool through 5th-grade students with diverse disabilities and delays, and developing tailored therapy activities in accordance with individual IEP goals. Previously, Maliea worked at St. Luke's Health System from June 2015 to August 2019 in various roles, including Patient Access Specialist II and Patient Access Specialist II-In Charge, where responsibilities included managing patient access operations. Earlier experience includes serving as a Crew Member at Papa Murphy's International from September 2013 to July 2014, focusing on customer care and maintaining a fast-paced service environment. Maliea holds a Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Idaho State University, completed from 2014 to 2019, with additional education at Boise State University from 2015 to 2016.
