Lena Herrero

Lena Herrero has a strong background in quality control and assurance. Lena is currently serving as the Regional Director of Quality at MSI Express, a position they have held since January 2020. Prior to this role, Lena was the Food Safety and Quality Manager at Power Packaging, A DHL Company, from July 2019 to January 2020. Lena also worked as the Quality System Manager at Power Packaging from March 2018 to July 2019, and from April 2015 to March 2018. Before that, Lena held positions at The Smith Brothers Co, including Director of Quality from November 2014 to April 2015, QA/QC Manager from July 2013 to November 2014, and Senior Chemist and Quality Specialist from December 2011 to July 2013. Lena's earlier experience includes working as a Quality Control Compliance Specialist at First Priority Inc from June 2011 to December 2011, a Paraprofessional at Wooddale School District from April 2011 to June 2011, and a Quality/Net Content Specialist at Nestle USA from July 2006 to September 2009. Lena began their career as a Chemistry Laboratory Quality Assurance Technician at Abbott Laboratories from April 2000 to June 2006.

Lena Herrero obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Chemistry from Elmhurst University in 1999. Lena also completed a Master of Arts degree in Education at North Park University from 2008 to 2011. Prior to their undergraduate studies, Lena Herrero attended College of DuPage to pursue a degree in EMT-Paramedics in 1999.
