Selma Scheewe

Selma Scheewe is a highly experienced professional in monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning (MEAL) with a strong background in humanitarian action and global health. Currently serving as a Senior MEAL Advisor at Crown Agents since October 2020, Selma leads MEAL initiatives, ensuring alignment with project theories of change and providing technical expertise. Prior to this role, Selma held various positions at Christian Aid, focusing on performance culture and program effectiveness, and at REDR UK as Head of Quality and Effectiveness, overseeing MEAL systems. Additional experience includes advising on capacity building in global health at the Royal Tropical Institute and serving in various roles in organizations such as the UN Peacekeeping Mission and UNFPA, where Selma coordinated studies and training programs. Academic qualifications include a Master’s degree in Humanitarian Action from the University of Groningen and a Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences/Development Studies from University College Utrecht.
