Sonja van Reede

Sonja van Reede has extensive experience in program design, development, and fundraising, with a specialization in proposal writing and grants management. Sonja has held senior management positions in various organizations, including MSI Reproductive Choices, where they were responsible for strategic direction, funding strategies, and proposal quality. Sonja also worked as a Development Manager at Skateistan, leading fundraising and donor engagement strategies. In their role as Regional Grants Manager at the Danish Refugee Council, Sonja developed grants management systems and provided support for proposal development and compliance. Additionally, they have worked as a Project Development Manager at ACTED and as a Grants Management and Communications Coordinator at GOAL Ireland. Sonja also has experience in training management and as a Program Officer for PAX for peace. Throughout their career, Sonja has demonstrated strong skills in project coordination, fundraising, proposal writing, and donor reporting.

Sonja van Reede pursued their education in the field of Political Science, earning a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from Leiden University between 2002 and 2007. Sonja further enhanced their knowledge and qualifications by completing a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in International Relations at the University of Amsterdam from 2008 to 2009.
