Tom Caravela

Tom Caravela is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in medical affairs and recruitment. Since May 2002, Tom has served as Managing Partner at The Carolan Group, a firm specializing in the recruitment of advanced degree medical affairs professionals. In April 2023, Tom expanded expertise as a Certified Speaker, Trainer, and Career Coach with MSL Mastery, focusing on helping aspiring Medical Science Liaisons. Prior to these roles, Tom worked as a Market Expansion Specialist and Sales Trainer at Abbott from August 1992 to April 2002, and as a New Business Marketing Representative at Aetna, a CVS Health Company, from June 1990 to August 1992. Tom holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Rutgers University, attained in 1990.
