Lee Johnson

Lee Johnson has extensive work experience in various roles related to project management, equipment installation, maintenance, and decommissioning, predominantly in the semiconductor industry.

Starting in 1984, Johnson worked at IBM as a Senior Technician and later became a Customer Engineer, responsible for equipment installation, repairs, and maintenance. Lee also served as a Field Service Engineer, coordinating preventative maintenance procedures and schedules for AS/400 and RISC 6000 computer equipment.

Johnson then joined Germane System LLC in 2003 as a Procurement/Inventory Manager, where they led the daily management of purchasing and inventory practices, implementing Just in Time procurement and reducing inventory retention.

From 1998 to 2014, Johnson worked at Micron Technology in various roles, including Coordinator and Senior Technician for Life Safety Systems Project Management. Lee ensured scheduling, tracking, planning, upgrades, and installations of FAB tool life safety systems. Lee also established a facility-wide "Kitting process" as a Project Manager, improving machine downtime and tracking bill of materials. As an Equipment Engineering Technician, Johnson performed parts exchange, arranged for equipment calibration, and organized vendors for scheduling. Lee also served as the Lead Principal Technician, coordinating preventative maintenance procedures, providing training, and monitoring department budgets.

Johnson's career also includes roles at Vector Security as a Project Manager, conducting research, developing proposals, and creating job quotes for installation projects. At AM TECHNICAL SOLUTIONS, Johnson worked as a Field Service Engineer, Project Coordinator, and Equipment Decommissioning Coordinator, where they managed the decommissioning and maintenance of semiconductor equipment and liaised with vendors and contractors.

Lastly, at Jefferson Lab, Johnson worked as a Fire Systems Technician, troubleshooting and maintaining fire system equipment, coordinating schedules, and creating required procedures. Lee also worked at MSR-FSR, LLC as an Account Manager, starting in 2022.

Overall, Johnson has a strong background in project management, equipment maintenance, and coordination of vendor activities in the semiconductor and computer industries.

Lee Johnson obtained an Associate's Degree in Electronics from Northern Virginia Community College, completing their education between 1988 and 1991.
