Aurora Hughes

Aurora, known by many as Rory, joined MSS in 2016 as Communications Manager. Like her brother, Tim, Jr., she too grew up at MSS as their father, Tim Sr., built the business from scratch. Prior to coming on board, Rory worked in the Publicity departments at two major book publishing houses in New York City: HarperCollins, in both their Regan and William Morrow imprints, and Macmillan in their Picador imprint. In 2012, she founded Brighthouse Relocation Services, a Minority Business Enterprise-certified relocation support services company. Her time with Brighthouse proved a crash course in all things third-party services, providing broad and invaluable insight into the third-party services industry and all its intricacies. When the company folded, she joined MSS full-time. In her current role as Director of Communications, Rory oversees all internal and external communications, collaborating with her team on everything from Sales and Marketing customer-facing communication and social media to network outreach to internal initiatives. She works with all three MSS divisions in her role, helping to shape marketing strategies for each of their diverse needs.
