Mike Chen

Mike Chen is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in engineering and quality management across various companies in the materials science and solar energy sectors. Currently serving as Vice President at MSS USA CORP since 2024, Mike previously held the position of Director of Engineering and Quality at Tandem PV, where responsibilities included overseeing vacuum and laser tools, as well as managing quality plans for the US_DOE Solar Energy Technologies Office. Prior roles include Senior Integration Engineer at Kinestral Technologies, where Mike implemented metrology processes for transparent conductive oxide, and Process Engineer at Solyndra, focusing on thin-film process development. Mike's educational background includes a PhD and Master of Engineering from Stanford University, alongside a Master’s degree and Bachelor's degree from Colorado School of Mines.
