Alex Rippe

Alex Rippe, CPA, CISA, is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in auditing and risk assessment. Currently serving as Vice President and Audit Team Lead at M&T Bank since April 2022, Alex has a strong background in internal controls, specializing in SOX and SOC1/2 audits, developed during a tenure as Advisory Manager at Deloitte from September 2014 to April 2022. Additional roles include Advisory Senior Consultant and Advisory Consultant, alongside earlier positions in web analytics and IT audit internships at leading firms such as Liberty Mutual Insurance, Western & Southern Financial Group, and Batesville Casket. Alex holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting and Information Systems from Xavier University, completed in 2014, following an education at Oldenburg Academy.
