Arati Thapar is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in the financial sector, currently serving as Vice President of Technology at M&T Bank since October 2021, following a tenure as Assistant Vice President of Technology. Prior to M&T Bank, Arati worked at JPMorgan Chase & Co. as a Senior Associate Software Engineer and at Vanguard as an Angular 6 Developer. Arati began career progression at Kforce Inc. as a Senior Computer Programmer and Software Engineer, and at IGATE, serving as a Technical Lead and Software Engineer. Arati holds a Master of Science in Information Technology Management from Grand Canyon University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from the University of Pune.
