Amelia Burnett

Amelia Burnett currently serves as the Gardens Manager at Mt. Cuba Center since July 2024. Prior experience includes roles as Garden Manager at Natural Lands from March 2022 to July 2024, and Horticulturist at Andalusia Historic House, Gardens and Arboretum from February 2018 to March 2022. Additional experience encompasses positions such as Plant Buyer at Terrain, Assistant Horticulturist at Chanticleer Garden, and Conservatory Seasonal at Longwood Gardens. Amelia Burnett began a career in horticulture at Gateway Garden Center Inc. and also worked as a Teacher Naturalist for Delaware Nature Society Inc. Educational credentials include a Professional Gardener Certificate in Ornamental Horticulture obtained from Longwood Gardens and studies at the School of Visual Arts from 2008 to 2010.
