Tami Hunter

Tami Hunter is an experienced teaching professional with a career spanning over two decades, currently teaching 8th grade Common Core Mathematics at August Boeger Middle School within the Mt. Pleasant Elementary School District since January 1998. In addition to teaching, Tami served as an Associate Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor at Santa Clara County Behavioral Health Services from March 2017 to February 2019, counseling clients with substance abuse and co-occurring disorders while becoming proficient in Pro-Filer/Unicare for medi-cal billing. Tami holds a Master of Science in Professional Counseling from Grand Canyon University and a Bachelor of Education in Elementary Education and Teaching from San Jose State University.
