Scott Klein, MD, MHSA

Scott Klein, MD, MHSA, currently serves as the President and CEO of Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital since July 2023. Previously, Scott held multiple leadership roles at Blythedale Children's Hospital from May 2013 to June 2023, including Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer, Chief Medical Officer, and Chief Medical and Clinical Services Officer. Earlier experience includes serving as Chief Medical Officer at VNSNY, focusing on hospice and palliative care, and multiple positions at Maimonides Medical Center from May 2002 to April 2011, where Scott was involved in critical care and quality improvement initiatives. Additional roles include Pediatric Palliative Care Consultant at St. Mary's Hospital for Children, Vice Chairman of Clinical Services at Maimonides Infants and Children's Hospital of Brooklyn, and Pediatric Medical Director at Hospice Care Network. Scott's education includes an MHSA from the University of Michigan, a fellowship in Pediatric Critical Care from Georgetown University School of Medicine, and an MD from the Medical College of Pennsylvania.
