Gary Lobaza

President, Americas at MTD Products

Gary Lobaza has been the President, Americas at MTD Products since November 2000. In this role, they are responsible for leading product portfolio strategy, innovation process and engineering for MTD's key global product segments in the US, Canada and Latin America. Gary also leads the joint initiative committee working with Stanley, Black and Decker. Lobaza is a member of the global leadership team and reports to the CEO.

Prior to joining MTD Products, Lobaza was the Director of Finance, Worldwide Beauty Care Division at Bristol-Myers Squibb from January 1996 to November 2000. In this role, they directed the activities of the financial planning and analysis group to support the development of strategic plans, annual business plans and monthly business reviews.

Lobaza began their career as a Senior Treasury Analyst at Leaseway Transportation from March 1985 to November 1988. Gary then became the In-Charge Auditor at Arthur Andersen & Co. from May 1982 to March 1985.

Gary Lobaza's educational career includes an Executive MBA in marketing and finance from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University, as well as a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in accounting from Bowling Green State University. In addition, Gary has completed executive education programs at the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business and the University of California, Los Angeles. Gary is also a certified public accountant (non-practicing) in the state of Ohio.

Gary Lobaza reports to Robert T. Moll, Chairman, CEO & President. Gary Lobaza works with Blair Cook - President, International, Craig Dukes - SVP, HR, and Michele Dorow - SVP, Financial Planning & Analysis & Controller.
