Mark Phillip Laurilla

Mark Phillip Laurilla has a diverse work experience in the maritime industry. Mark Phillip started their career in 2011 as a Chief Engineer with Philippine Transmarine Carriers, Inc. and held this position until 2013. From 2012 to 2015, Laurilla also worked as a Professor and Tactical Officer at the Philippine Merchant Marine Academy, where they were responsible for teaching marine engineering and providing leadership and disciplinary training to cadets. In 2013, they joined Synergy Marine Group as a Chief Engineer and worked there until 2018. During this time, they also worked as an Instructor and Course Designer at the Philippine Center for Advanced Maritime Simulation and Training from 2005 to 2018. Currently, Laurilla is employed as a Chief Engineer at MTM Ship Management, a position they have held since 2018.

Mark Phillip Laurilla obtained their Bachelor of Science in Marine Engineering from the Philippine Merchant Marine Academy, where they studied from 1996 to 2000. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Don Bosco Technical Institute, Makati, specializing in Computer Technology from 1992 to 1996. Most recently, from 2023 to 2024, they pursued an MSc in Engineering for Marine Professionals at MLA College.
