Alain Ngendahayo

Alain Ngendahayo has experience working in the telecommunications industry. Alain started their career in 2006 as a Core Network Planning Engineer at Econet Wireless Zimbabwe. In this role, they were responsible for planning and optimizing the core network.

In 2008, Alain joined MTN CONGO as a Core Planning & Optimization Consultant. Alain worked in this position until 2011, during which they managed planning and optimization activities related to service deployment and capacity assurance in the Core/IP/MPLS. Alain also had diverse responsibilities such as budgeting, performance optimization management, and formulating International capacity plans and strategies for data and voice services. Additionally, they supervised a planning team and worked closely with internal departments and external business partners.

After that, Alain was promoted to the role of Core & IP Planning Manager at MTN CONGO. Alain held this position from 2011 to 2017. In this role, they continued to oversee planning and optimization activities for core and IP services. Alain also had responsibilities such as long-term evolution planning and formulating international capacity plans and strategies.

In 2017, Alain was further promoted to the position of Network Planning and Optimization Senior Manager at MTN CONGO. Alain is currently in this role, where they are responsible for managing network planning and optimization activities.

Following this, from 2005 to 2007, they furthered their studies at the same institution and obtained a master's degree (MSC) in communication engineering.
