Sonia Simwanza

Sonia Simwanza is an experienced professional in the telecommunications industry, currently serving as the Manager of Rich Media Services and Digital and VAS at MTN Zambia since August 2018. In this role, Sonia is responsible for developing consumer Value Added Services and Digital products that align with customer needs and market insights, while contributing to the overall strategy and product development roadmap. Previous experience includes a position as Key Account Manager at Spice VAS Africa Pte Ltd, where Sonia managed sales and account relations with telecom operators. Sonia's career at MTN Zambia began in 2010, progressing through various roles from Call Centre Agent to Product and Services Analyst, showcasing a strong background in customer service and product management. Sonia holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from the University of Lusaka.
