Waleed Abdel-Naby

Waleed Abdel-Naby, PhD, currently serves as Vice President at MTS Health Partners since December 2021, following a role as Senior Associate. As the Founder and President of Novyx Technologies, LLC since February 2016, Waleed has led research collaborations with Weill Cornell Medical College to develop innovative silk-derived hydrogel wound dressings and conducted comprehensive market analyses to inform product development and marketing strategies. Waleed's prior experience includes positions at Barclays Investment Bank as Assistant Vice President, SunTrust Robinson Humphrey as Equity Research Associate in Biotechnology, and Goldman Sachs in a similar capacity. Waleed's academic background includes a PhD and MS in Biomedical Engineering from Cornell University, where research efforts resulted in multiple patents and publications. Additionally, Waleed received an Entrepreneurship Fellowship from the Entrepreneurship Lab NYC program and managed significant research projects, including a NIH SBIR Phase I grant application.
