Kathleen Connelly Mitchell

Kathleen Connelly Mitchell, MBA, MT(ASCP), is an experienced healthcare professional with a focus on laboratory quality assurance and pathology services. Currently on leave as a PhD student, Kathleen has been the CEO and Founder of Kathleen Mitchell Consulting since April 2011, specializing in laboratory preparation for CAP/JCAHO inspections and obtaining State Certifications and CLIA Licenses. Additionally, Kathleen serves as a QA Specialist at mTuitive, an Accredited Team Member for CAP Inspections, and an editorial reviewer for the National Society for Histotechnology. Previous roles include Director of Anatomic Pathology Development at IBSG-LABLION and Associate Director of Quality Assurance and Quality Control at Foundation Medicine, among others. Kathleen holds an MBA from Western New England University and a B.S. in Medical Technology from Salve Regina University.
