Juha Västi

Juha Västi has a diverse work experience in the media industry. Juha started their career at Mediaosuuskunta Välke as the CEO from December 2005 to December 2007. Juha then joined Västin videotuotanto, where they worked as a Freelance Photographer and later became the Company Owner from October 2010 to November 2017. At Västin videotuotanto, they gained experience in media production for various platforms, including television, radio, social media, and digital advertising. Following that, Juha Västi joined Bauer Media Group - Suomi, starting as a Videographer from August 2007 to December 2012. Juha then became the Head of Video Department from December 2012 to May 2015, responsible for in-house video production and advertising. From May 2015 to December 2017, they served as the Head of Creative Solutions, leading a creative specialist team and overseeing sponsorship and promotion campaigns across different platforms. Currently, they are Head of Client Advisory Services at MTV Oy, a position they started in March 2022.

Juha Västi completed their Lukio (high school) education at Raudaskylän lukio from 1999 to 2003. Following that, they pursued further education at the Tampere University of Applied Sciences from 2005 to 2010. During their time at the university, they obtained a Bachelor of Culture and Arts degree with a specialization in Rich Media, focusing on scriptwriting and visual expression. In December 2011, they also obtained the PADI Discover Scuba Diving Experience certification from PADI.
